Lesley and family - My husband and I are so sad to hear of Dr. Wolf's passing. We were both patients of his for many years. Kind and highly professional, he will be missed by all who knew him. May you all be comforted by many wonderful memories.

My condolences to his family.
Dr Wolf was an extraordinary physical and he actually saved my life. As a young man I was initially diagnosed with a "tick bite" by a family physician. I then asked Dr Wolf to take a look at the small-reddish and black "tick bite" which was located on my back. Within seconds he looked directly at me and stated; " that´s a melanoma." He removed a section of the skin which turned out to be stage 3 melanoma, and my journey to recovery began.
I was a patient of his for 25+ years until his retirement. I have no doubt had it not been for Dr Wolf, that this then 21 year old, would have had a much different outcome.
I am forever grateful for his professionalism and for his office bedside manner. He was a consummate professional!
May you rest in peace sir. And thank you again for saving my life!

Dr. Wolf was the best of the best. He was my doctor, and my sons, for decades. This is so shocking to hear he has passed. He had superior intellect that still hasn't been matched by anyone else in Southeastern CT.
I pray his family finds comfort in all the wonderful memories he made with them.

I had the good fortune of starting at Dr. Wolf's office when he began his practice. His superior intellect combined with his kind manner made him exceptional. The practice soon became well-respected and busy. In the following 16 years, we shared a special friendship that I will always treasure. When my husband was critically burned, Eric was a tremendous source of support. He was a good man and will be missed by many. We are glad we had him in our lives. Our thoughts are with his beloved family. May he rest in peace.

I knew Eric for many years. He was a superb physician. His compassion and care was exceptional. He was also an excellent golfer. True to his advice to his patients, he would be in the gold course completely covered from head to toe. We have lost a good doctor and he will be remembered by his patients and friends for a long time.

I recently heard that Eric had passed away. I was privileged to know him for many years and be able to refer my patients to him. Unlike all the other dermatologists in Southeastern Connecticut, he was happy to see all my patients including those on Medicaid. He was always available for telephone consultations. Eric was an excellent physician.

Shocked to say the least. My skin man for years, great attentive man. I lamented his retirement and had no idea he was facing health concerns. My heartfelt concerns for you family folks. Take comfort in knowing the life he led, his integrity and concern for his patients, and the planet. Life is truly short. Love the people in your life today.

I was a patient of Dr. Wolf in Groton. He was the best for describing your medical issue. He was a soft spoken and very kind physician. He was missed in the Groton area when he retired and left the area. RIP Dr. Wolf.

I´m so sad to hear of Dr.Wolf's passing. He was my children´s dermatologist and my husband. I always looked forward to seeing him. I got him to smile at me once after telling him he was voted best dermatologist. It´s sad he didn´t get to enjoy more of his retirement. Rest in peace Dr Wolf.
