I remember the special gifts Erik brought to the field when I covered Foothill High's boys varsity games for the Tri-Valley Herald. He had a brilliance that was unique, something those of us who follow the game at a variety of levels rarely see. He was an artist with the ball at his feet, the game seemed to flow so naturally from him. I'm glad he brought joy and love and laughter to so many others throughout his life that ended much too soon. God bless the Lemoine family and all of those who will miss Erik's gifts, on and off the soccer field.
