I have the sweetest memories of being with your entire family in New Hampshire and then with Erin and Colin in Hawaii with Emily. Erin was kind, beautiful, funny, and the most welcoming person. I cannot imagine the heartbreak that you and the kids are feeling, Colin. And Emily to lose your sweet "other half" is just unimaginable. You all will continue to be in my prayers. Love to you all.

I had the extreme pleasure of knowing Erin way back at Alpha Xi Delta. She had an incredible gift to share with people, a soft way of noticing things in others that folks tended to overlook. I got to work with her and her pledge class and got to know her as a fabulous young woman and spend the next couple of years with her before I graduated in 1990. A few years ago, I reconnected with her on Facebook and we shared Some fabulous moments about our families and adult life. It´s incredible when you know someone from your youth and are able to reconnect and see all of the great things within them and how they grew through throughout the years. I´m so sorry to hear of her passing. I will keep you all in my prayers.

I will always remember days at your family's house and everyone being there. What an incredible loss. This is a shock and I'm thinking of you all. Great memories that still resonate today. XOXO

John, words cannot express how sorry I am for you and your family.
While I never had the privilege of meeting your mother, she sounds like an amazing person.

My deepest condolences to Erin´s whole family and to all her friends and acquaintances. She was truly one of the kindest and most genuine people I´ve had the pleasure of knowing. I just remember her in high school being so happy and giving off such positive vibes. I´m sure it carried on into adulthood. The handful of times I´ve run into her and Colin proved she hadn´t changed. I pray her family can find peace and treasure each and every moment they had with her. I am just so sorry. It was an honor knowing her.

I remember when you all came to stayed with us, in Epsom NH. MaryKate, Emma, and our daughter Carly Chulack were young girls at the time. It was the first I had heard the love story of Erin and Colin and the way Erin told it I´ll always remember
It seems to me, that if we love, we grieve
That's the deal. That's the pact
Grief and love are forever intertwined
Grief is the terrible reminder of the depths of our love
And, like love, grief is non-negotiable
There is a vastness to grief
That overwhelms our minuscule selves
We are tiny, trembling clusters of atoms
Subsumed within grief's awesome presence
It occupies the core of our being
And extends through our fingers to the limits of the universe
Within that whirling gyre all manner of madnesses exist
Ghosts and spirits and dream visitations
And everything else that we, in our anguish, will into existence
These are precious gifts
That are as valid and as real as we need them to be
They are the spirit guides that lead us out of the darkness -nick cave
May time and fond memories, bring you all peace Danielle Chatham (formerly Chulack)

You all wrote an amazing and fitting tribute to your mom. I can´t imagine how hard that was to do. I met Erin several times many years ago Pinkerton/UNH. Her sweetness was always present. I was childhood friends into young adulthood with the Hanlon brothers, and graduated with Sean from PA who will always be close in my heart. My deepest condolences to you. Having an incredible mother is special. I hope Colin will heal; my love to him and all of you.
