Erin Camille Williams

Erin Camille Williams, 41 of Dallas formerly of Lubbock, departed this life on Monday, April 24, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, at 12 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Erin Camille Williams was born on December 9, 1981, in Denver, Colorado to Barnett Williams and Linda Faye Henderson-Williams. Early in her childhood, the family moved to Lubbock, Texas. She attended Lubbock ISD schools from elementary through high school. In 2000, she was an Honor Graduate of Estacado High School. Erin, continued her formal education as a student of Paul Quinn College-Dallas, Texas and Prairie View A&M University Houston, Texas. After her college career, she enlisted in the United States Army. As a Servicemember, Ms. Erin Williams excelled in military tactics and was recognized for her knowledge, skills, and talents. She ranked as a U.S. Army Specialist in Petroleum Supply. Erin had many accomplishments as military personnel. she was a model soldier and was awarded for Good Conduct. As a recognized and decorated leader, she received; a National Defense Medal, Global on Terrorism Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, an Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon. Erin, successfully completed tours in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Korea. She was Honorably Discharged after seven years of dedicated service to the U.S. Military.
