We were so sorry to learn of Ernests' passing. As a child. I spent many mornings sipping hot chocolate, and viewing all those great sport pictures that circled the restaurant. We also remember the terrible fire that took this great gathering place from us.
We don't really know your family personally, but we felt like family whenever we ate at Jimmies.

My mother worked in Jimmie Condon's bakery in the 1920's and talked about it all her life. Also my father, her fiance went there to pick her up and always talked about a man there that was always saving a trip. My friend's mother worked for a dentist above the CIBC across the street and raved about the bakery goods. He was a pillar of the community and will be joining many of his old friends, employees' and customers. Marjorie Sheldon

I am saddened to learn of Ernies passing.
I very much enjoyed sharing time with Ernie
listening and talking tales of fishing adventures
and his love of sports, his laughter and generosity.
My condolences to the Condon Family.
Gods speed and good fishing Ernie.
