Reverend Ernest Enloe

Reverend Ernest M. Enloe, 73, of Gig Harbor, Wash., died Thursday, July 7, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma. He was born August 3, 1931, the youngest of four brothers, in Booneville, Missouri, to Fred and Naomi Enloe and attended Wapato High School in Wapato, Wash., and Northwest College in Seattle, WA. He married Marion Treise on December 9, 1950, in Wapato, and together they pastored churches in Montana, South Dakota, and Washington, including 18 years at St. John Assembly of God and 14 years at Grace Fellowship in Kent. Besides Marion, his wife of 54 years, Rev. Enloe is survived by four children and their families: Monty and Susan (Enloe) Zorb of Lodi, Calif.; Rick and Marvelea Enloe of Gig Harbor; Jim and Renee (Enloe) Pecota of Kent; and Ray and Terri Enloe of Gig Harbor; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tyler Pecota; and three brothers, Eugene, Hershel and Leonard Enloe. Private Family Funeral Services for Rev. Enloe will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 11, at Haven of Rest Funeral Home in Gig Harbor, with interment to follow.
