Ernest Iarussi Obituary
Ernie was born March 5, 1942 to Ralph & Concetta Iarussi in Bronx, NY. Ernie attended Roosevelt HS in Bronx and was then drafted to the US Army. In 1969 Ernie was sworn in as an NYPD officer where he proudly served the City of NY.
Ernie is survived by his loving wife Dee Ciano-Iarussi; sons; Ernie (MaryAnn); Daniel (Denise); daughter; Joann Fiallo; step sons; Paul (Mina), Frank, Joseph (Lynn-lee) Ciano; step daughter; Donna (Alan) Luiso-Wright. As well his his loving grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Denise; his parents and mother in law and three sisters.

My Dear `Brother´ Ernie, I am so sorry you had to leave this world, but I know that now you are no longer in pain. I will always fondly remember our conversations about policing, you in the Bronx, and me in isolated areas of Northern Canada. Maybe one day we will continue that, when my time comes.

I went through the NYPD police academy with Ernie and Tony Coviello in June 1969. Ernie and I served in the Bronx 41 pct, aka Fort Apache, and he always had your back, a real stand-up guy !May he truly, Rest In Peace !

I just heard. I'm at a loss for words. You accomplished a lot in your life . You have to come from humble beginnings. I still listen to your songs that you made when you're with the visuals. To everything there is a season one time to live one time to die one time to laugh one time to cry and one time to heal! My condolences to Dagmar. my nieces my nephews and their children. Rest in peace my dear brother!
