Ernest Mills

Ernest Mills, age 88, of Orange Park, Florida, formerly of Orient, Illinois, passed away at 6:24 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin. He was born August 19, 1922 in Orient, Illinois to Ernest and Matilda (Mutchek) Mills. He retired from the U.S. Navy as an aviator. He was a pilot during WWII and Korea. Ernest loved his family and was an avid golfer. He married his wife Alice Peck on July 30, 1949. Ernest is survived by his wife: Alice; daughter: Viki; son: Scott Mills; brother: Jack Mills; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews: John and Sharon Mills, Doyle and Rita Mills, Mark and Nancy Mills, Jack Mills, Janet and Tom Burns, Misty and Brad Jovi.
