Age 87, of Churchill Borough; on Saturday March 29, 2008; husband of the late Elena "Helen" (Palandro) Scinto; beloved father of Rosemarie Ecoff (Ronald) and step-daughter Eileen Joyce (John); proud and loving grandfather of Ronald Ecoff (Maura), Lynn Ostrowski (Scott), Michael Joyce, Stephen Joyce, Maureen Manning (L. Jay), Daniel Joyce (Monica) and 8 great grandchildren; brother of Eda Jonocco, the late Frank Scinto, Margaret Fiore and Yolanda Zuccala; Ernie was an Army Veteran of WWII and a long time employee of the City of Pittsburgh Department of Water; Friends received Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills; Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maurice Church, Forest Hills, Wednesday 10 am; in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
