Fi Fi was fun pure and simple,from a class mate Paul Potts '63

It's with great sadness to hear of Fefe's passing. Phil and I were roommates our senior year at The Citadel. Phil was the XO of L Company and was a true example of a citadel man.He had an interesting sense of humor - ie- taking his pet gerbil /riding on his shoulder to a Friday afternoon parade.

A 1963 graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, he is missed and mourned by his classmates.

Such a beautiful and dear family who I loved and cared for with all my heart! I know you´re in heaven watching out for us. You are a fighter and you´ll be a strong force up there. I know we´ll be meeting you by the flagpole in heaven one of these days. I love you.

I will always keep you in my heart, And janet, you´re beautiful, amazing wife who still has work to do here as do I, but we will be with you one day - prayers and love to the family . I will miss you til then

EP (that is how I knew him at The Citadel ) were Civil Engineering students in the Class of "63". He was in Lima company and I was in Mike. We often studied together as we made our way through the courses. He was a great help to me and I shall always remember our time at The Citadel. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing.

Jan, I am so very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Phil´s strength and determination and how he would paddle upstream on the river for miles. He was truly a great guy and always willing to lend a hand if needed.

I am so saddened to hear of Phil´s passing. There are so many memories throughout our school years with Phil-from Killarney Elementary to Winter Park High School-A dear and delightful friend. Please accept my condolences & prayers for all the family.
