Our most sincere condolences to the entire Sparrow family. Ervin was a good man and a better friend who I will miss dearly.

Ervin/"Uncle E." was a unique gentleman with a unique soul, his presence here on earth will be sorely missed!! I extend my deepest condolences to the Sparrow family, for this is such a tragic loss. I pray continuously that God wraps His arms around you and comfort you all as only He can, that He heals your broken hearts and that He brings peace to your minds today, tomorrow and in the days to come.

There's a garden where Jesus is waiting. There's a place that is wondrously fair. I can hear Ervin saying with humor and joking. I been here. I was worry yawl wasn't gone get here, laughing. I will miss him for Thanksgiving at Greg and Denise house. He made show he was their every year.

I'm still in disbelief about your passing! I just cant bring myself to think that I won't see your smiling face anymore in the Clerk's Office. you were like an honorary co-worker who had the privilege of coming & going as you pleased!! I've known you for 13 years and it has been a great 13. We shared so many laughs & talks about any & everything. I can't count the number of times I've said Man Ervin go sit down somewhere & you would say Oh You wrong for that!! The one thing that really got you to laugh HARD was when we talked about Jordyn!! if I never heard anything else come out of your mouth I heard Jordyn, J, Melissa, Rodney & of course Sandy!!! You loved your family so dearly and I know they loved you too!! Take your rest Ervin!!! You are truly missed!!!

When I first heard of this tragedy, I said to myself, "lord this can't be true". Ervin you are truly missed, truly. We shared some good memories and I will forever cherish them. Having a good time was definitely your thing to do. From cooking chitterlings to club secret, I really am grateful to have had you apart of my life. Take your rest and we shall meet again!!! We were so surprised when we heard the news. Our hearts sunk and all we could do was think about and pray for our family. He was a very meek and humble man. I really don't know no one that didn't like him. If he seen you before you seen him he made you see him with such a bright and radiant smile!! He was known for his famous saying "LET ME FOUND OUT" I'll always remember him. RIP my friend.
