She was born in Lowell on Aug. 23, 1933, daughter of the late Joseph and Cecille (Berube) Roy. She graduated from St. Louis Academy in Lowell.
Mrs. Mann worked for John Hancock Co. before raising her family.
She was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Chelmsford and a lifetime member of the Chelmsford Garden Club.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, traveling, shopping and relaxing at her home in Maine. Family members recalled her dedication as a mother and how she served as inspiration to other cancer patients.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Susan and Rocky D'Angelo of Holden and Nancy Mann of Dracut; five sons and their wives, Wayne and Cheryl Mann of Dunstable, Michael and Melanie Mann of Dunstable, Gary and Jennifer Mann of Chelmsford, Brian and Maureen Mann of Melrose, and Glenn and Stacey Mann of Chelmsford; 11 grandchildren; a sister and her husband, Rita and X.D. Michaels of Nashua; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles and Francine Roy of Menifee, Calif., and Francis Roy of Manchester, N.H.
She also leaves two sisters-in-law, Joan Roy of Westford and Shirley Mudge of Malden; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mann was also the sister of the late Doris Marion and Robert Roy.

Estelle was a wonderful Sister & Sister Inlaw. Many happy memories of her when we visited Chelmsford. Estelle is loved and will be missed.

Thank you for holding on so we could meet. My mom and dad have already told me so much about you. We have pictures of us and video I will cherish them. We have an amazing family and I am very lucky to be part of the Mann Clan! I know your in a better place now but know it means so much to me that you were able to hold and kiss me. We had a special two weeks that I will never forget.
