My grandmother, Mary Ann Griffiths, was a "roommate" of Esther's at Hartsfield several years back. Your mother was a joy! When I visited she was always upbeat and anxious to get back to her home. My sincerest sympathy to her family and Cliff..

I remember Esther well, having done business with her and her husband as Bell Jewelers when we were in business as STEEL CITY VENDORS in East Chicago. She was a very fine woman and will be missed by many.

Dear Gail and Jan and families,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mother. She was a truly lovely lady and I feel so blessed that your parents took me under their wing at Bell Jewelers. I learned so much from watching them deal with the public, and you Mother was always the soul patience, good humor and class when interacting with customers and friends alike. I apologize for not being able to pay my respects in person, but as it is the end of the grading period, I am unable to get away from my classroom this week. Please know that you and your families will be in my prayers, and that I remember both of your parents with love!

Jan & Gail--
I have such wonderful memories! What fun we all had. Your mom always treated me so special as she did Joey, too. Having lost my mom last year, I know the sadness you are experiencing. Hold the memories close to your heart and they will forever remain.
