Esther Fortna

Esther and our Dad, Bruce Forsythe, loved each other very deeply. His life was made better for knowing her. They were such a great couple. I can imagine them in Heaven playing bingo with the occasional camping trip with Larry. I know they are happy their together.

Esther was a remarkable woman. Her nephew Harold always held her in the highest regard, she was one of his favorite people. He told me stories of their adventures at the farm when he was young. I found her to be gracious, kind, and loving a real lady!

Billy, I have such fond memories of your lovely mother beginning with Shasta Street. She always had time for all of us Briggs Girls. My Mother, Evelyn Briggs and Esther were always connected through out the years with being neighbors, school activities, various clubs. All of us will hold warm loving memories of your beautiful Mother and hope that the memories you hold in your heart comfort you and your family.

Grandma had the most kind hearted soul of anyone I've ever known. She accepted Mary Ann and I as grandchildren the moment Mom and Larry married. I'm sure she out-lived many of her friends, but if they could come back and talk about how she touched them, there would be a line around Yuba City. She touched many, many hearts. She'll always have a special place in mine. Rest in Peace Grandma, we'll miss you!
