A belated message of sympathy to all of the McFadyen family. I have very fond childhood memories of your Mom. I remember her being so soft spoken, gracious and gentle; with all of us around there was lots of chaos. I remember playing with the girls at your farm and then all of the mothers and kids having wiener roasts while Dad's were farming. What a blessing to have her for so many years. My thoughts are with all of you,

My love and sincere sympathy to the whole family. I was very sad to hear Auntie Esther had passed away. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and she had a way of making everyone she touched feel special. I am sure that is a lesson she took from Grandpa Akister's book of love. I am thinking of you all.

We want to express of deepest condolences at the passing of your dear mother. We have amazing memories of your parents as they were some of our biggest supporters and encouragers here at The Barn Playhouse. It was also my privilege to rub away the stresses of hard work in a standing appointment every other Tuesday for years, while we talked about their wonderful family. Esther would often bring me a jar of her delicious preserves. What a wonderful kind women as she mentored those around her ( and I was one of them )

My condolences to the McFadyen family. Esther was my teacher at Star View. I reflect on those days now with special remembrance of a lady who taught and cared for a community of children as if they were her own. I am happy that I was able to connect with Esther and those of her children that attended the Star View Reunion.
