Estrella Salgado

Dear Helen, Irene, Monica and Anna, I looked through the photos here and it seems your mother retained her shining spirit even in her later years. We always loved her and Ernesto (the chief!) too. We are thinking of you all and sending prayers and love.

Estrella lit our lives with her beautiful eyes, georgeous smile and enormous heart. Heaven has added another "Estrella", that will continue shining over us. Our condolences to Monica, Helen, Irene and Anna. Thank you for allowing us to be part of Estrella's legacy. May God continue his blessings to you and the rest of the family.

Dear Helen, Monica, Irene, and Anna. I spent many great moments with your mother discussing life,keeping up with my spanish, and laughing. She was a beautiful person in every way and I am sure you are all very proud of the legacy she left you. I am very grateful to have known her and her warm soul.

We first met Estrella in Madrid, Spain, where she welcomed us as family in her condo while visiting with her daughter, Irene, and son-in-law, Jim. She was the most beautiful woman we met in Spain, both inside and out. She will be missed by all but she is where she wants to be -- with her husband. Our love and heartfelt loss is with all of the Salgado family.
