My sincerest condolences go out to Ethans family. How lucky you were to have this man in your daily lives. I only had him in mine a few precious days a year as a child, on the slopes of Lake Louise. I was in Premier Ski School for longer than most. My brothers all went, and with Ethan's encouragement, I was accepted at an earlier age than most. The days on the buses and slopes were some of my best memories as a child. Ethan made a fun and safe environment for all of us to enjoy. Our main supervisor on our bus was Bert Little, who was a lovely man also, but it was always a bonus when Ethan would drive up to Lake Louise with us. I can remember at a young age (pre-teen), asking to race against Ethan.....he told me that he would race me once I got older. I got to experience that day finally when I was 16, and being the gentleman that he is, he let me win. I knew this at the time, but he vehemently denied it. It was a joy watching Ethan ski down the slopes. What a great skier he was. With his encouragement and praise, I found a sport that I truly love. Even today, whenever I pull into the Lake Louise parking lot, I always think of him.

As a young boy in 1955 till 1956 Ethan
and his father were my mentors at Premier
Cycle where I worked.
Ethan was a the "top pf the family", a leader of the family.
His brothers Bruce and Al became lifelong
friends as well.
Ethan was the leader. Long remembered.

My condolences to Joan and family. I met Ethan through my parents via the Gyro Club. He was a brave man to take this obnoxious pre-teen skiing to Lake Louise. I'll always remember his quick wit and humor.

I shall always remember Ethan, Bruce and Joan from those days so many years ago when Ethan gave me my first job at Premier Cycle and Sports. Also my introduction to skiing which became a long term enjoyment.
My condolences to Joan and family.
