Ethan Arvid Jordan

Ethan Arvid Jordan was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, on August 28, 1998, and left us May 6, 2024, in Houston, Texas - the result of a fatal motorcycle accident.

Ethan was confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Cyril's Catholic Church. He graduated from George Ranch High School in 2016 and was a student at Houston Community College with plans of transferring to the University of Houston, majoring in mathematics, while also tending bar at B&B Butchers Restaurant after having worked at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse for several years.

Ethan was a kind and gentle soul, adventurous to a fault, a man who selflessly put others' happiness before his own. He made fast friends with anyone with whom he spoke or worked and was loved by so many. He was a man of many interests, including skateboarding, motorcycles, movies, video games, martial arts, and boxing. He was always working towards self-set goals and was an avid reader of books that would contribute to personal growth. He loved his Whataburger, but also enjoyed trying new venues and dining experiences. He had recently joined a weekend motorcycle group and was looking forward to the new adventures that would bring. He was a man who genuinely loved life.

Ethan is survived by his mother Natalie Jordan-Forcher, stepfather Zac Forcher, brother Liam Forcher, sisters Elise and Elora Forcher, father John Jordan, uncles J. Michael Gomez and Matthew Roberts (Sarah), aunts Joy (Peter) Kulis and Veronica Jill Gomez, Oma Debi Loff and Opa Gary Brady, step-grandmother Chris (Larry) Jordan, grandfather Jesse Gomez II, step­grandfather Jerry (Jacqueline) Forcher, grandmother Myra Jordan, great-grandmother Mercedes Ramos, several great-aunts and great-uncles, many cousins, and innumerable friends.

His funeral services will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, 10503 Westheimer Road in Houston on Thursday, May 16, 2024 with public viewing starting at 8:30 am, Mass at 9:30 am followed by a reception. He will be interred at the Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery at 1:00 pm located at 18000 I-45 South in The Woodlands.
