Ethan Stubbs Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 12, 2025.
On February 8th, 2025 Ethan Cole Stubbs left this world.

Ethan was a son, brother, father, and loved friend from all that knew him. He had a light like no other that ended too soon.

He is survived in life by his children Heath, Cyrus, and Audrey Stubbs. His mother Jeanetta Stubbs, sisters Christine Good, Rebecca Salyer, Janet and husband Arlan Greer, Betty and Micheal Chandler, and brother Rodney Stubbs Jr., Grandmother Dolores Doody, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Don and Betty Stubbs, maternal grandfather Terry Doody, father Rodney Stubbs Sr., and brother Heath Stubbs.

In life Ethan was known as a friend you could always count on no matter what. Those that were lucky enough to be in his circle knew him well and probably have a crazy story about him to tell. For such a short time here he left a big footprint. He loved to make people laugh even if it was at his own expense. He was an odd duck always up to shenanigans and enjoyed the little things like talking on the phone, listening to music, and being outdoors. Trucking was his passion, so much that he would choose his loads based on the restaurants nearby. Ethan will live on in our heart, memories, and his children. The loss of Ethan will never go away.

There was never a dull moment with Ethan. He definitely lived his life to his fullest ability. He was the friend that would drop everything and drive 3 hours to help a friend in need. He had the worst jokes but a laughter so contagious you couldn't help but laugh yourself. You couldn't have asked for a more loyal friend. I have a lot of great memories with Ethan and I'm glad I was able to call him my friend.

I remember when he was a child and he came over with his dad and helped harvest 5 acres of 6 ft tall corn stalks. His friendship, work ethic, and can do attitude was so amazing.
