Ethel Fraser Obituary
AGE: 71 • Long Branch
Ethel Annette Fraser, 71, was called home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2013 after an extended illness while vacationing in Houston, Texas. Interment was held on December 17, 2013 at Paradise North Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
She was born in Dunn, North Carolina to Melvin and Anner Smith. Ethel grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. After, graduating from Gibbs High School she moved to Asbury Park, NJ.
Ethel resided in Long Branch where she and her husband raised their family. She was an active member at Trinity AME church and many other local and national organizations.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband of 51 years, Alton Fraser: her children, Antoinette (Toni) Fraser-Brown, Beth Fraser, Crystal McKnight, and Alton Fraser Jr., 11 grandchildren and 1 great -grandson, 5 siblings, and a host of nieces , nephews, and friends.
A celebration of her life and repast will be held at Trinity AME church, 64 Liberty Street on December 28, 2013 at 11:00 am. All friends and family are welcome to share in Ethel's Memorial - Home Going Service.
