Before her nursing career, Margo was a zookeeper at Crandon Park Zoo and the San Francisco Children's Zoo, reflecting her lifelong love for animals. Her passion extended beyond her professional life, where she was a longtime volunteer at the Jamaica Fire and Rescue Department and into her personal interests, where she enjoyed flower gardening, raising orchids, sewing, crafts, and baking. Margo's creativity also shone through in her many years exhibiting at arts and crafts shows.

Margo is survived by her daughter, Amy Bender; son, Gene Seese; grandchildren, Gavin, Alexander, Jonathan, and Elizabeth; and her brother, Jeff Boyd. She was preceded in death by her father, Adrian Boyd; mother, Ethel B. Boyd; and brother, Bruce Boyd.

A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Jamaica Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 4017 VT Route 30, Jamaica, VT. Following this, a private family burial will take place in New Canaan, CT.
