David and Dawna Carlton

Aunt Ethel was a wonderful person who had an impact on many lives. From her brothers and sisters down to her great-great grandchildren. We spent a very enjoyable day with her a couple of years ago talking family and family history.
Although distance has seperated us for years, she has always held a special place in our heart. Dawna had the opportunity to appreciate her also through limited meetings at the Carlton annual get together and her taking the time to have us in her home to talk geneology. We will miss her, but feel at easy knowing she is where she longed to be..

Words cannot express the sadness and emptiness that comes with loosen a loved one. I find so much comfort in knowing she is where she has wanted to be for along time.
I will always hold dear my memories and honor her always with the love and respect she so deserves for giving me a life of true value and worth. Thanking everyone for there support and prayers during this time. Her daughter Kathy Allen

Granny was one of the most loving women I have ever met. No matter what was happening in her life she always welcomed visitors with open arms. I was fortunate enough to be one of her great grandsons. When I moved away off to college, my time with Granny was virtually eliminated. But, every time I came home for the weekend, I made it a point to spend time with her and enjoyed listening to her many stories. Granny being with the Lord and Papa really have helped me to coup with this loss. She loved everyone and everyone loved her, I know that I did more then anything.

There are no words to express how much Granny will be missed. She had this way about her that made everyone like her,and she always made you feel good. We all loved her and will miss her and wish the best to her family.

Granny was a wonderful person and loved by everyone that came into her life. Granny's daughter Kathy and I were best friends and I lived every moment I could at thier house. Granny made me the person I am today, because of her kindness, understanding and love in her heart.
I will miss her and I wish the family peace knowing she is with the Lord and her husband now.

Granny was my 11 year old daughter's best friend. They spent a lot of time together and rarely missed a day that they didn't see each other for at least 5 minutes. Jenny idolized Granny and will miss her greatly! She truly was a loving and giving lady! We loved her and will miss her very much!
Much love to all,
Joe, Marcy, Zach, Joey, and Jenny
