I would like to say that I am SO incredibly thankful to our God that He allowed Miss Etterlene to cross my path in life. Her love and faith in God is something that I will NEVER EVER forget. She always treated me and my family as though we were a part of hers, and we were. Her family will remain in our prayers, always.

I´m sending my love, thoughts and prayers out for the DeBarge family. It´s an honor working with her 1st born, Bunny DeBarge to help keep the DeBarge legacy alive. Thou I never had a chance to meet Mama D, I consider myself very fortunate to have known or connected with her offspring (some of her children and grandchildren) and to learn all about her legacy and her love of Jesus through them. I first met Mother Etterlene DeBarge at the New Christ Memorial Church approximately 18 - 20 years ago. After the service was over I went to her and we chatted for a moment then she suddenly broke out in prayer for me. Those prayers have since been answered. She also spoke of the daggers in my back that I did not have to worry about. She told me just keep focus and moving forward. Then she told me, " you can call me Mama D." Mammie, you are bless and your seed are blessed also, each and every one...!!!

Condolences and prayers is extended to the family of : Goddess / Etterlene DeBarge! May our Creator be forever pleased with all of her wonderful contributions upon this beautiful plane/ earth! She will never be forgotten because of the impact that she had on many..therefore; her name will always be spoken..She was truly beautiful spirit that I had the privilege 2 spend time & precious moments with making memories.I will miss my favorite song " on my knees" that she would sing at my request when in her presence..I will miss her politeness,friendliness,our multitude of conversations, her prayers for me & with my family! I will miss her beautiful smile..coming 2 my home 4 meals..going out 4 meals & tea time,thrift shopping. Hanging out with me in my garden..I will miss so much in re: to the other woman that I referred to as "my mother" especially when my mom made her transition..she has always been there 4 me and I will truly miss her physical presence as I miss my biological mothers presence..Rest well with our Ancestors Goddess Mama D.
