BEHRLE, DOROTHY Dorothy Behrle, age 88, wife of the late Charles F. Behrle and resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest Sept. 10. She was born July 1, 1924 in Ansonia, daughter of the late George & Matilda Lougheed Kirkeby. She worked as a sales clerk for Reads Dept. Store and was a member of the Immanuel Episcopal Church in Ansonia. Dorothy was also a member in the American Legion Auxiliary and was active in the Ansonia Republican Party. She is survived by her son, David Behrle of Warrenton, VA, sister, Marguerite Tidmarsh of Ansonia, five grandchildren & five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter, Marguerite Behrle & sister Suzanne Lundvall. Funeral services will be held on Friday evening, Sept. 14, at 7:00 p.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St., Ansonia. Friends may call on Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association through the funeral home. www.jenkinskingfh.com
