Eugene C. "Gene" Abbate

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Abbate,

I was so sorry to hear about Eugene. This is a heart break for all who loved him. I just remeber when we were kids, working at the club. Please take care and may God watch over your whole family and this sorrowful time.

God bless Gene and the family Gene has left behind.On several occasions I had the pleasure of Gene's company at code seminar's and always came away with an abundance of information . He had a wonderful personality to go with his refined teaching skills.He will be sorely missed.

Gene was an excellent teacher and instructor who was knowledgeable about his subject. He also had the gift of being able to share and impart that knowledge to those he taught. He was a consumate gentleman and will be missed by the members of our organization as I am sure he will be missed by all who came to know him.

It was an honor caring for Mr. Abbate--there was so much love in his room, I found myself lingering just to listen to his stories.

I was saddened by the untimely passing of Gene. He was an asset to Code Officials and will truly be missed.

Gene could always made me laugh, even when I didn't want to. I will always admire and remember his courage, tenacity and grace under pressure. My thoughts and prayers to all his family and friends.

Gene was a truly wonderful person and good friend .He will be missed ! GOD BLESS .
