Deepest condolences on your loss. I met Gene at The Compassionate Friends and he was so helpful to my healing after the loss of my son. He will be missed.

My family and I are saddened by the passing of your Dad. We knew your dad for years as a neighbor. Mr. Delong was a very kind, hardworking man. He was well liked by so many friends and family. May God rest his soul. May God comfort you all during this difficult time.

Words can't express how sorry I am. Mr. DeLong was just the best. Everyone in your family was just one of a kind. I'm forever grateful all of you touched my life and so many others in such positive ways. Your parents are proud of the daughter and sister that you were and I'm sure they rest easier knowing you will continue to spread that love and kindness to everyone you meet. Mr. Delong, may you rest in peace with the rest of your beloved family and thank you for being one of a kind, someone I will never forget and have great memories with that I cherish so much.

I remember Gene fondly from bottle club. He was always so friendly and kind...! My condolences to his family.
