Frank and Lorraine Samuelson
October 23, 2012
We all loved Dr Eugene Dolehide. A tribute to a member of the original "Tavern in the Sky" doing good works of mercy and love annon. We were saddened by his passing in our midst for he had only two more treatments to go, leaving behind beauty, joy, and understanding.
He brought a lovely gift from his work in Tiawan for his Aunt Marguerite, which made her so proud and happy. He invited us to come to see Tom play early on and we felt so privileged to be a part of Tom's success.
Dr. Gene was there for us during Mitzi's transplant surgery and how he honored his wife Marcy with Caralons at St. Peter Cantious is truly remarkable, the church Marcy and Gene would attend for many years. Frank will miss his call about the box scores.
Love, Frank and Lorraine Samuelson

I enjoyed working with Gene at St. Francis Hospital for many years. He was a thoughtful, caring and skillful surgeon and a dedicated physician. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with his family Jim & Joyce Elmes Chicago,Illinos

Dear Susan,Uncle Bob, Aunt Noreen and all our Family,
Our prayers are with you and I will always smile when I think of Uncle Gene calling me "Little Lori" even when I was all grown up...always making me feel so special and always having a warm hug for me when he saw me. You are loved and will be missed so much.
Love, Lori (Samuelson) Duran, Rich Duran, Kaitlin Brianna and Isabell
