Eugene C. Durand

Gene was a great guy and always your friend, I'm going to miss him. He's the first one to always say hi... the reunions just won't be the same. Ill look you up when it's my turn buddy.

Al, Maureen and family, I remember the days of the haunted house at the Durand house, Al's Austin Healy sitting in the garage and the ice rink in the Bartell's back yard. Eug was there for them all. He will be missed by all. God's speed. My condolences.

I attended St. bridget's with Eugene. He was a great kid and i wish i had known him as an adult. During our Christmas pageants every year, he was always chosen to play the babe in the manger...he was goodness and light. Safe travels, Eugene.

You couldn't name a kinder, friendlier, more unassuming, more helpful, more tender hearted guy. Gene, you'll be remembered by everyone of a certain age who lived on the Northside. My sympathy to the family.

Family & Friends: Eugene and I also hung in the same crowd during high school. He was fun, loving and always had something good to say. He will be missed by everyone that he has touched. God Bless!

The Patrick Henry Class of 1969 will miss Eugene. He was the life of the party and had a kind word for everyone.

I'm smiling right now, just to see Eugene's face and thinking about how lucky I am to have known him.What a great guy. We wrote to each other after the last class reunion. I have his letter in my 'favorite letter' box. He was special to me. Geeze we laughed hard and had fun. Hugs & kisses Eugene!

Eugene was one of my softball coaches out of high school. He was fun to play for and our family loved him too.

My thoughts are with your family on the loss of Gene. He was such a loving-giving man.I always enjoyed his State Hockey party and his pool on picking the winner.It will be with a heavy heart I contact our friends in Winnipeg and let them know Gene has passed away. They have always asked about him when I visit with them. He was really Mr. Northsider.

Dear family I am so sorry to hear about Eugene. I went all the way through Henry with him and hung around with the same group of kids he did for many school years. I had seen him at reunions and I just loved him. He was so kind to everyone and so soft spoken and I will always remember how he'd laugh with his whole body. He was a wonderful man and I am so happy to hear he had a good life. God Bless you and All and I will see you in heaven someday Gene!
