Glenn and Erin,
I am truly sorry for the loss of your dad. He was a wonderfully kind and strong man and was a loving and cherished husband to your mom, my dear lifelong friend Liz. I hope it brings comfort to know that they and Dan are now reunited.

Gene saw life as we all should, the glass half full. I saw Gene and Liz when they bought a little yellow house in Ashburnham, then always at church, and helped him sell his home and buy his dream. He was the best human being I am so proud to have known.

To you his beloved family may memories sustain you and may the presence of his many friends give you comfort. He was such an important member of the Martin Luther KIng Jr, coalition we appreciated his honesty and optimism. Rest In Peace and love, Gene. Rev. Susan Suchocki Brown

Erin and Glenn,
I'm so sorry that your dad has passed away. He was such a warm and wonderful person. We last got to spend some time with him two years ago canvassing for the election. He was so good with our kids and, like every interaction I've had with him over the years, it was just uplifting being around him. I hope he's at peace and reunited with your mom and Dan. Wishing you both lots of love and healing.

Erin and Glen,
I am so sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. Gene and Liz were two of the people it was a grace and privilege to come to know. They both shared a deep love for you, and their faith. I know that Gene was welcomed by the Lord, and right behind Him were your Mom and Brother. They now are in the peace and love of the Lord, and they are praying for you and your families that the faith they passed on to you will be your strength in the days ahead.

Dear Farrell family,
I am really at a loss as to what to say. I have been a friend of your Dad's since kindergarten.
We shared a lifetime of memories both happy and sad. Please know that you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Your father leaves behind a rich legacy and one to be admired. I will miss him terribly and regret not having seen him before he passed. I know he was writing a book and dedicating it to my mother. He was a dear friend and a terrific father. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Your description of Gene is what I saw a school every day. I had many of his students in class and saw what a positive impact he had on them and how much he helped them. I am lucky to have crossed paths with Gene.
