What an honor it was to have known Larry Greer, even if it was only for a few years. Larry was such a kind and friendly guy to everyone that he met. He was very proud of his military accomplishments and loved when we´d be out and about and someone would recognize his decorated military cap and thank him for his service. He had many stories to share of all the great places that he and Jody lived and visited in the earlier days of their marriage. Larry was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. And he was a wonderful friend to all. Larry took great pleasure in spending time with family and friends and just reminiscing about the good ole days and his passion for vintage cars. He loved when we´d go for drives around Apache Junction. Every time he would see the Superstition Mountains he would say, "I just love those mountains". Larry had many fond memories to share of the home that he and Jody once had, with a beautiful view of those mountains that he loved so much. You will be truly missed Larry, but never ever forgotten.
I will always be thinking of you when I look at the Superstition Mountains, go to the carwash, or stop for a caramel blondie coffee . Thank you for your service & your friendship.
With love, your friend Joyce.

What can I say about Larry Greer..... I met him almost 8 years ago when I was hired to care for his wife Jody as she was on Hospice! They quickly became family to me! Larry is one of the kindest, sweetest most loving man I have had the pleasure to know! His love for his family was huge!!! He was a doting husband to Jody, He made sure she had the best life he could give her, He always made sure his Son and grandsons had everything they needed, He loved my children and Grandchildren and called himself their adopted Grandpa! We laughed, we cried, He told me all of his stories, about his childhood, his military career, his adventures, his dreams, He loved that I brought a spark back into Jody´s life and got
her active and thriving again, for him, seeing her come back and start smiling and enjoying things again was something he never expected, Just as I never expected him to get sick and leave her. My heart is breaking, Jody is lost without him, I promised him I would be with her and take care of her till they are together again! Larry, my sweet friend, you were a blessing in my life and made the World a better place!!!! You will be greatly missed!!! I love ya Larry, keep watching over us!!!
