Eugene J. Jackson

Eugene J. Jackson Macedon: The world lost a warrior.  The heavens gained an angel. Eugene Joseph Jackson, 81 years old, died at 1:32 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.  Gene was deeply loved by his wife of 58 years, Gail, his predeceased son, Jeff Jackson, son, Gregory Jackson and daughter, Jody Moulton.  He was also deeply loved by his son-in-law, Mark Moulton and daughter-in-law, Lori Jackson.  Gene was admired and cherished by his grandchildren, Chad Moulton, Jeffrey (Whitney) Jackson, Jason (Shelby) Moulton, Kyle (Jami) Jackson, Tyler Moulton, Emma Jackson and Max Jackson.  He will be dearly missed by his great grandchildren, Cora Mae Jackson and Colt Alan Jackson.  Also survived by his twin sisters, Dorothy and Ruth; many nieces and nephews. Gene was loved by many and known for his quick wit and tenacious personality. He we the Union President for 25 years at the American Can Co. in Fairport and a class A truck driver for 42 years. Gene was a man of integrity and strong will that stood for all he believed in.  He was an original and will be sorely missed.  He is walking the streets in heaven with his brother Ronnie, sister, Carol, son, Jeff, and his beloved parents, Stewart and Martha.  A 21 gun salute to this Korean War Veteran, who loved his country and his fellow veterans.  May his wings be full of God’s love and may he soar into eternity wrapped in the bright light that was him on Earth.  Please leave an online condolence at www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
