Dear Maria and Family,

Gene was one of the most "upbeat" and encouraging men that I have known. I never saw him without a friendly word and smile. He always made me feel happy, and leaves good memories as he takes his deserved rest in God's Holy City.

I knew Gene through my parents Roy and Mary Alexander.Gene was a good guy and a very kind person. I wanted to let you know that y'all will be in our prayers and I extend my condolences to the family in their time of loss.
