Just wanted to say how much I still miss Gene! You meant the world to me dear friend and always will. A year has passed since you left us and I think of you always. You will be with me in my thoughts which are good ones. Thank you kind sir.

The world has become a sadder and lonelier place without my dear friend Gene.I know we will all feel his loss terribly.I also know that Gene would want all of us to remember him as someone who took life in stride and appreciated all that it has to offer us.He taught me to accept not only the beauty and goodness in our lives but how to learn patience and strength by understanding life's difficulties also.
My heart goes out to his beautiful wife Joanie and his dear daughter Sarah.May the pain they are feeling now be soon replaced by the great memories of the time they both spent with him and the love he felt for both of them.

I am so shocked and saddened by the loss of my friend Gene. He has left us all way too early and I thought that he would be riding his motorcycle for another 25 years or so. I met him when he came to the bicycle shop that I owned in New Haven, CT. He ended up helping me out at the shop and becoming my friend. I was honored to be the best man at his wedding to Dana.
We once rode our bicycle to Cape Cod, Mass from New Haven. I will treasure his friendship forever and mourn his most untimely passing.
