Richard Hudson Obituary
Originally from Millsboro, Delaware, Richard was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, Class of 1962. He went on to serve in the veterinary corp of Company E, 18th Battalion. He retired in 2001 after giving 30 years of service to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He was a devoted father, brother, and friend. He was an avid classic car and air plane enthusiast. He will be fondly remembered for his witty sense of humor, gritty determination, and unfailing devotion to his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Geneva Hudson Ackerman, brother, Jay Ackerman, and brother, George Eli Ackerman, all of Delaware.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Hudson of Harrisburg, future son-in-law Stephen Tierney of Manchester, UK, sister Joyce Hudson Green of Delaware, and brother, Robert Ackerman of Delaware.
Memorial arrangements are being held privately by family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

So much like his Uncle Ronnie. There was so many, many miles apart but they constantly kept in contact He had such a glowing personality. I do miss him.
