The passing of someone dear to us is never easy. We are left with a void and a stream of dreamlike memories that bring cause for discussion at will. It could be a song, or a holiday, or a favorite food or even a joke that could provoke the discussion. But, it is a good discussion because the memories are being kept alive and we smile at the words being shared. So in essence, they are not gone far but are only a memory away...
In saying that, I would like to give my deepest condolences to you Debbie and your family on the passing of your dad, Eugene. He was our other 'brother-in-law" so to speak and was always asked for when absent at some special family event. Also to Earl, Ricky and Leslie and your families, my heart goes out to you all and know that Eugene was loved, thought of and will be missed tremendously.
Love Always, Pam, Mark and Brandon

We'll all miss a happy & jovial friend/brother/brother in-law. Although Eugene experienced his share of challenges and disappointments over the years, he always stayed positive, and remained a truly nice person to be around.
What we've lost, Heaven has gained...

If We Could Bring You Back Again
If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We’d express all our unspoken love;
We’d have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again,
We’d say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You’d know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.
Our heartfelt Sympathy goes out to the Tabb Families. Eugene was an important part of the Goodridge Family also. He had a kind heart, was so good-natured and we just loved his funny joking manner ! He was a man who could not only give jokes, but take them also. We will miss his Rock & Roll moves, his warm peck on the cheek "greeting" and his "Hi Charles, how ya doing ?". Every time we pass by Chenoys, we think of Eugene, his favorite spot on his way in to Montreal. Eugene, you are missed every day ! Your presence will live within us, forever.
Sincerely,
Cynthia & Charles Este

"If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane,
We would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why.
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow,
What it meant to lose you
No on will ever know.
Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today,
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay."
We were so sad to hear of Eugene's sudden passing, and it's hard to believe he's gone. He's been one of the family since as long as I can remember. We will remember him as being a nice and caring person, always doing good for others and lots of fun to be around. We'll miss his smile, his jokes, and especially his presence at our family gatherings, including those times worrying when he'd tear up the 401 to get to Montreal. Our deepest condolences to his immediate family, especially to my brother-in-law Earl Tabb and my sister Sybil and their children Stacie and Chris. Eugene, we love you and will keep you in our hearts forever. Love, Debbie and Rob Quinn (Goodridge)
