I wish I had been able to graduate High school with Gene and the rest of the class. But it was not to be. The class of 60 is getting smaller each year. Thinking of you and the rest of the class, fellow Veteran and old classmate John Ebel. God bless us all..

Since we grew up together and shared many experiences I have many good memories which Gene is a part of. I considered him a good friend and am sorry we never got together again after high school.

I am sorry for your loss. I went to Bayard Elementary School up to the 7th grade with Gene. I remember him as a quiet well mannered great kid. He will always be in my heart as a school buddy. My brothers Sam and Richard knew and liked him. They both were Navy Veterans and have passed, I am sure they will welcome him. God bless his family.

Sorry to read about your brother in the paper. My condolences. I don't think I ever met him, but if he was anything like his brothers Sam and Leroy, he was a good man.

I am so sorry for your loss of both brothers, I pray for the repose of their souls.
