Eugene WALKER

WALKER, Eugene Carlton, 83, of Millenbeck, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012. He was a lifelong member of Corrottoman Baptist Church, having served as a Deacon and Trustee, a building contractor, a veteran and charter member of 601st Aerial Supply, of the 11th Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. Survivors are his wife of 60 years, Janice Davenport Walker; three children, Carl Walker (Pamela), Sherry Germain (Michael) and Meriam Driss (Ons); six grandchildren, four

great-grandchildren; five siblings, Robert Walker (Gwen), Carolyn Williams (Paul), Peggy Harding (E.O.), Mary Brent and Hobson Walker (Jean); numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by three siblings, Francis Walker, Adrian Walker and Sylvia Jones. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Corrottoman Baptist Church. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday evening (today) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel.
