Genie, I wish I had met you years ago and had the chance to develop a friendship. From the moment I met you, you radiated an aura of kindess, caring, and warmth that is a rare gem in today's world. You were certainly a woman of many talents and interests and I could often see that glint in your eye- your sense of humor and fun were never too far from the surface. Even in the short time I knew you, I felt my life was greatly enriched. My deepest sympathy is extended to all of your family and friends for the loss of such a special person.
May you be surrounded by fields of beautiful and fragrant flowers forever.

I first met Genie on the day I moved into my new home on Newton Park Road in Framingham in 1985. There was a hurricane alert, fierce winds and rain were blowing, the gate to my newly acquired fence was blowing down the street…. Genie ran with me to catch the gate, she helped me tape windows (in the pelting rain) and then she fed me homemade soup in her warm and dry kitchen. We huddled together with candles and flashlights and when it was all over a new friendship had been forged. This was not the last time that Genie would help me weather a storm. She was a cherished friend, confidante, traveling companion, fellow shopping enthusiast, and laughing buddy. She enriched the lives she touched with her wonderful, giving soul… always striving to make things better. This world, and my world, is less rich without her. I love you my dear friend, M.
