Dearest Mrs.Golden,
I just found out today about Genie, and my heart is broken. I wish I had known that she was sick. Being my Maid of Honor and all of the crazy great days I will never forget. She was a amazing friend and I will never forget her. I know she is with God. I can't imagine the two of you not bieng together. But know she is with you in spirit. I hope to see you soon, I am so sorry I didn't know sooner or you know I would have been there sooner. I love you very much.
Love and Prayers,

Genie is what I think of when I look back at my childhood. A family friend, but for me even more so, an awesome caregiver and excellent example of how to live life. I'm so happy I was able to visit with Genie and Judy in December. I'm just sorry I couldn't do it again. I feel lucky to have had the privilege of growing up with Genie. I'm so sorry Judy and to the rest if the family. You all are in my thoughts.

Genie's smile is something I will always carry in my heart when I think of her. She was a good friend to many - and will be missed very much. Her family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers that memories of good times will help to ease the pain and start the healing process.

I am so sorry to hear of Genie's death. I will remember her as always upbeat, always smiling. She loved life, especially her football games.

Miss Judy, may you find peace and healing in the knowledge that so many people care for you and wish you well. As time passes, may your memories of Genie bring you joy in memories of a life well lived.
