Eulalia Miranda

alia Miranda Eulalia Miranda, 60, of Pomona, passed away August 22, 2006 at home. Born December 15, 1945 in Duarte, California, she had been a resident of Pomona for over 40 years. Eulalia was a teacher assistant for many years, teaching at Arroyo Elementary and Washington Elementary schools in Pomona. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pomona. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry and cooking. But most of all, she loved her family and children. Eulalia was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Michael T. Miranda, who passed away in January of this year. She leaves behind her sons, Andrew and Michael P., both of Pomona, Timothy of Santa Barbara and Michael of Hawaii; one daughter, Michelle M. Miranda of Pomona; two brothers, Darrell Castro of San Dimas and Clifford Castro of Pomona and one sister, Diane Castro of San Dimas. Visitation will be held at Todd Memorial Chapel in Pomona on Monday, August 28, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a vigil rite to begin at 6:30 p.m. Graveside S ervices will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pomona on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 10 a.m. Todd Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
