Eunice Louise Pierce (1929-2024)

Raymore, MO - Eunice Louise Pierce, known to her loved ones as Tommy, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024, at the age of 94 in Raymore, MO. She was born on July 11, 1929, in Rural Appleton City, MO, to the late Lloyd and Warren Lewellen. Eunice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Pierce, as well as her brothers, Lloyd and Warren Lewellen, and her sister, Rosemary Lewellen Dunning.

Eunice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family and displayed unwavering love and kindness to all who knew her. Eunice's acts of kindness were boundless, and she selflessly served others through her various acts of service. Her talents in sewing and crocheting brought joy to those around her, and her delicious baked goods and meals were a testament to her love for her family and friends. Eunice was always there to support her three children, Dennis Pierce (wife Lisa), Dale Pierce (wife Teri), and Donna Pierce Bartley (husband Bob), in their endeavors, including countless hours spent cheering them on during sports activities. She also cherished her role as a grandmother to Amie, Mandy, Brad, and Lauren, and her nine great-grandchildren.

Later in life, Eunice and her husband, Jim, dedicated themselves as home missionaries for the Baptist Church. They served in various locations, including the Bronx, New York, Baltimore, MD, and Boston, MA, where they shared their faith in Jesus Christ and spread love to others. Eunice's deep-rooted faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a longtime member of the Baptist Church.

In her free time, Eunice enjoyed pursuing her hobbies, which included cooking, baking, sewing, crochet, and knitting. She found fulfillment in volunteering for church-related missions and activities, further exemplifying her giving nature.

A celebration of Eunice's remarkable life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Fellowship of John, PO Box 701, Raymore, MO 64083.

The Meyer Brothers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs, MO, is honored to be assisting the family during this difficult time.

Eunice Louise Pierce will forever be remembered for her selflessness, love, and unwavering faith. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
