Oh what a treasure we have lost. I worked with Eva at Riverside Hospice and Home Health in Newport News and Gloucester. She was knowledgeable, humorous and a pleasant lady. To see he= and Jim together was a picture of true love, support and happiness.
I pray for your comfort and guidance.

I am so sorry to hear Eva has passed. We worked together many years at WRMH and shared a lifetime of memories. She was a joyful person; always smiling. Her professionalism was superior and each patient received excellent TLC under her watch. She will be greatly missed.

My dearest Eva and Jim, I am so sorry and saddened by the passing of Eva. I could write a book of our memories. God has his best ever angel. We worked many years together and Eva taught me that everything has a silver lining. One of her favorite sayings was "This too shall pass.'' A philosophy I still live by. Her work motto was, "where me and thee meet, I call it an inservice." We had such a good time going to Talheimer's in Richmond to see the REAL Santa Claus. Eva's love of God, Jim, her family, community and profession never faltered. Those who knew Eva are better people for knowing her. I miss you

I met and worked with Eva as a Riverside educator. She taught me how to change educational activities to be engaging and fun. I cannot tell you how my sides ached from laughing with her over the years. She had a quick wit and found humor in most situations. There are still times I think of her as I still utilize her techniques.
I know how much she loved Jim and her family and I know how much they loved her right back. She was a terrific nurse, educator, and friend.
