Devol - Graveside service for Eva Jo Ann Wade, 76, of Devol, OK will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK under the direction of Gray Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wade passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 in Wichita Falls, TX.

Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025 and again on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a special viewing and visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eva was born on December 10, 1948 in Grandfield, OK to George and Minnie (Caldwell) Clark. She grew up in Grandfield and graduated from Grandfield High School in 1967. After high school she attended Missouri Western State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Eva married Gary Wade on January 17, 1970 in Grandfield, OK and to this union two sons were added. Eva was a proud military wife and held many jobs that include Legislative Aid for Missouri Legislators, Nebraska Department of Health, Antique Store Owner and Radio Host, Farmer, USO Morale Representative during Desert Storm in Frankfort, Germany, the Mayor of military housing in Wiesbaden, Germany where she was awarded The Commander's Award for Public Service, and the Red Cross Representative on Sheppard Air Force Base. Mrs. Wade enjoyed antiquing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary Wade; her children, Scott Wade and his wife, Amanda, of Wilmington, NC, and Michael Wade and his wife, Jennifer Cheng Wade, of Christiansted, St. Croix, US Virgin Islands; her siblings, Howell Clark, Coy Clark, Newt Clark, Randy Clark and his wife Cleo, and Anita Newby; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Mrs. Wade is preceded in death by her parents; her sister in law, Francis Clark; and her brother in law, Bobby Newby.
