Eva Mae Chapman Walker, 87, passed away on November 14, 2012, in a local nursing home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, Pastor Paul Dziadul will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Walker was the widow of Jessie H. Walker. She was born in Lizella to the late Alma Gordon Chapman and Arthur Burke Chapman, Sr. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and doing projects around her house. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law: Nancy (Don) Hunnicutt; siblings: Geneva Holland, Beatrice Heath, Margaret Livingston, Jean Bartlett, Fred Chapman, Fannie Lee Countryman, Sara Chapman, Robert Chapman, Sam Chapman, and Jerry Meeks.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her children: Sandra (Charles) Dover and Diane (Keith) Langford both of Macon and Terry Walker of Warner Robins; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter; Brother: Arthur Burke Chapman, Jr. and canine companion: Ruthie.

Sandra, Diane and Terry, I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. I remember our "gang" always hanging out at your house and your mother always being so gracious. It was fun times. You're in my prayers and thoughts.
