Evaline "T.ting" Bailey, lovingly known as T.ting, peacefully passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 77 in Wailuku, Hawaii. She was born on January 28, 1946, in Lahaina, Hawaii, to Abraham Kaina and Julia Kepani Sarocon.

Evaline was a loving, humble, and patient person who dedicated her life to caring for her extended family. She was a Loving wife,Mom, Mama & a 2nd Mom to a lot! She was a devoted caretaker to numerous nieces, nephews, and had even adopted six of her grandchildren, raising them as her own. Her nurturing spirit and selflessness touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John "Larry" Bailey, and their Sons Dominic (Lei) Kaina, Samson Bailey, Solomon Bailey, Siah Bailey, Sage Bailey, Daughters Renee (Mark) Kaina, Jezelyn (Kimo) Gonsalves, Selena Bailey, Sebryna Bailey. Evaline was also a cherished grandmother to Ainsley Kaina, Keanu Martinez-Ho'opii, Kapualana Kaina, Makana Kaina, and Kahiau Kaina, and a great-grandmother to Taylyn Kaina, Kawainui Rosete-Bailey, Jion Ferreira-Gonsalves, and Jirie Gonsalves-Ferreira. She is also survived by her brother, Abraham Kaina, and sisters Julia Rodrigues, Joyce Kamaka, Angeline Martinez-Apolo, and Irene Kaina.
Predeceased by 4 Brothers. Rev Phillip Kaina Sr.
Abraham (Fats) Lanoza, Jonathan ( Man) Kaina, Jonathan (Baby) Kaina.

Evaline dedicated a significant of her career to Lahaina Shores Hotel, where she retired as a Housekeeping Supervisor. Her hard work and dedication were appreciated by both her colleagues and those she served.

A memorial service in honor of life will be held on January 28, 2024, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The service will be open to the public from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a private hour for family from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

Evaline Bailey's legacy of love, patience, and selflessness will forever be cherished by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
