GIBBS, Evan Marvin It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marvin Gibbs at the age of 92 years on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Marvin was born in Davidson, SK and raised on a farm in Simpson and was a very hard worker. He farmed in Simpson/Davidson area for 27 years. In 1970 he and his family moved to Regina and began a career as a salesman at Percival Mercury. He enjoyed sales and was successful. One lady wrote the company to say she enjoyed Marvin's salesmanship and added Marvin could "sell refrigerators to Eskimos." He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years Lillian; his sons Marlon (Karen) and Roland (Sandra); 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marvin was predeceased by his first wife Jean of ten years; his son Wayne; daughter Donna Kingston; parents Clarence and Edith; and his siblings Wilbur, Darrel and Leavon Allen. At Marvin's request there will be no formal service, but the family will gather at a later date to honor and celebrate Marvin's Life.
