Evangelina Ford

Our beloved Evangelina “Eva” Ford departed this life Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center Springfield, MA after a lengthy period of illness. She fought a great fight up to the end, always with hope and faith in God. Her faith in God did not waiver and she put herself in God’s hands and prayed that His will be done. Eva leaves her Mother, Ana Maria Archibold Pusey of Leominster, MA, her Stepmother, Victoria L. Ford of Springfield. Her son, Machinist Mate First Class Tybalt Demetrius Ridgard, stationed in Japan on the USS George Washington, her Grandson Ezekiel Miguel Ridgard age 4 & her daughter Abigail Veronica Ridgard of Gainsville FL. Her brothers: Elder Carlos R.(Dioslina) Ford of Volcan, Panama , Edsel L. Ford, Jr. of Springfield, Henry A.(Mayra) Ford of Springfield, Andrew S.(Emma) Ford of Springfield. Marshall Esquina of Panama, Anselmo Esquina of Panama , Cecilio Scarlett of Florida & Samuel Pusey of Philadelphia. Her Sisters: Karen D. Ford-Martin (Robert), Her caregiver Audri L. Ford-Victory & Vanessa V. Ford all of Springfield. Dr. Eleanor (Delmer) Reid of Leominster, MA, Esther, RN (Dr. Aishel) Isenia of Curacao, her devoted cousin Hersley Lever of Brooklyn, New York. Eva will be missed by the father of her children, Claude Ridgard of Gainsville FL. &, who will always remember that sweet child she met many years ago. Eva will also remain in the hearts of a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends & church members from Panama, New York, Gainsville Spanish Church & Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church in Springfield. She is predeceased by her father Edsel L. Ford, Sr. who loved her dearly & her step father, Mr. Kermit Pusey. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday May 10, 2015 at Shiloh Seventh day Adventist Church, 797 State Street, Springfield, MA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM. Henderson Funeral Home is in charge of all professional services.
