Evelyn Ellison Obituary
Evelyn Ellison age 78 of Harrogate TN, was born May 12, 1938 and went to her eternal home March 8, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She professed faith in Christ at age 13 and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where her husband was the pastor and she held the role of secretary/treasurer for many years. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Rev. James A. Ellison, son Bruce A. Ellison and sister Ethel Ellison.
Survivors include daughter Brenda (Harold) Singleton of Tazewell, TN
Son James Edward Ellison of Harrogate, TN
Daughter Frances (Steve) Hill of Harrogate, TN
Grandchildren: Chad Daniels of Pottstown, PA; Joseph Ellison of Chattanooga, TN; Madison Ellison of Harrogate, TN and Tanner Hill of Harrogate, TN.
A host of other relatives and friends
A special thank you to Dr. Barry Stewart and Dr. Robert Wilmoth of Claiborne Medical Center, Dr. Richard Lee of Tennessee Cancer Specialist and Suncrest Hospice (Tina Lester, LPN; Felicia Fultz, RN; Jimmy Davis, RN; Megan Edens, RN and Bethany Reinious, RN) for their dedication, love and support.
The family will receive friends on Saturday March 11, 2017 from 5 until 7 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate with funeral to follow at 7 P.M. in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel in Harrogate. Rev. James Shoffner officiating, Johnny Parks reading the obituary and Randall Massengill singing. Graveside services will be Sunday March 12, 2017 at 1 P.M. in the Shoffner Cemetery.

What a PRECIOUS FRIEND, NEIGHBOR & SISTER IN CHRIST!! Our hearts are heavy but still rejoiceful that HEAVEN is so much brighter & her glow is ever present with precious memories. So sorry we couldn't come to support her family but all of YOU have been in our prayers. Our special needs son wouldn't allow us to be around people during this sick season. Lucille knew we loved her and she and I were connected as Moms of special needs sons. Had great times on the phone & I am going to miss her greatly!!!
