HATNEAN, Evelyn Mar 26, 1926 - Oct 11, 2009 With overwhelming sadness, we announce the passing of our loving mother Evelyn on Oct. 11, 2009 at Malden Park, continuing Care, with family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Jacob Hatnean (2008). Loving mother to daughters Beverly and Howard (Toronto), Carol and husband Doug and sons Danny and Zee, Billy and Chris. Dear grandmother to Sarah (Scott) and Selina (toronto) Amanda (Brad), Danielle (Ron), Devon and Jillian. Great grandmother to baby Jackson Jacob. Predeceased by parents Amanda (Ouellette) Henry Poppard, deceased family; Morris, Clarence, Gerald, Roy, Madeline and Stella. Surviving Lucille, Isabelle, Gordon. Evelyn will be sadly missed by all who were close to her, Maureen and Don Seeger, John and Joan Kaschak, Florence and Terry Allard, Maryellen Coffay, the Wysinkski and Nickerson families. A heartfelt Thank you to Dr. Michael Ziter, and Dr. Paul Ziter, and the entire Ziter Pharmacy, for many years of excellent care, to Dr. Peter Courey, who would keep mom smiling. A big thank you to Father Bill, who's constant visits our mother loved and were so appreciated, and to his secretary Betty for her help. An extended THANK YOU to Malden Park, continuing care floor, we cannot express our deepest appreciation for your outstanding care of professionalism and compassion. You laughed and cried with us, and were there every minute we needed you. Each of you should be recognized for the excellent job you do on a daily basis. Bless each of you. Evelyn will always be remembered for her kindness and passion of cooking great meals, and her gardening. Her faith and beliefs were strong, which were needed to fight her constant health problems. Evelyn and Jacob will celebrate 60 years today, and we ask all to say a prayer for them. Mom, may you rest in peace with Dad now, where you feel no more pain. We will miss you both everyday. Cremation has been arranged by Secord & Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service will b e held at a later date.
