EVELYN McALLISTER Obituary
On Saturday, November 17, 2018, of West Homestead. Wife of the late Donald; loving mother of Donna Jae and her husband Kenneth of Pleasant Hills; dear Grammy of David Michael Mack and Jason Thomas Mack; sister of the late Marianne Montgomery. Evelyn worked as a secretary for St. John Mark Lutheran Church. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. TUESDAY ONLY, at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday morning, at 10 a.m.

Unfortunately, I just learned of Evelyn's passing, as I have not been a member of the Steel Valley or South Hills Community for many years now. She was the most lovely person. My deepest condolences to you, Donna, in the loss of your mother, and to your sons in the loss of their grandmother. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry Donna for your heartbreaking loss. It seems the only comfort I can offer at this very hard time is now Uncle Don and your Mom are united again in heaven
